Miner council appoints Patrick Johnson to Ward II; sworn in during Dec. 8 meeting

Alderwoman Peggy Holman moved to appoint Johnson and Alderman Brian Bell seconded; a roll-call vote recorded Brian Bell, Peggy Holman and Beth Keller voting Aye, carrying the measure.
City Clerk Julie Witt read Bill 2025-22 twice by heading only and announced that the bill had passed as Ordinance 1447. Witt then administered the oath and swore in Patrick Johnson as the new Ward II alderperson.
The appointment was placed on the agenda as an ordinance (Bill 2025-22). No additional conditions or deferred actions were recorded at the meeting. The board returned to routine agenda items after the swearing-in.
