Residents press for sidewalks, transparency and raise data-center concerns during Spring Hill planning meeting

Country View Ter.) urged greater transparency in city processes and broader community outreach. Tammy Null (19440 W. 202nd St.) expressed concerns about M-1 and M-2 zoning designations. Derek Buckridge (20456 W. 220th Ter.) suggested the city use a request-for-qualifications alongside an RFP for the Comprehensive Plan and emphasized connectivity, particularly trails.
Other commenters included Bill Peterman (19431 W. 200th St.), who spoke about a planned sidewalk at Woodland Crossing; John Watterman (21110 W. 186th Ter.) and Sarah Grady (15690 W. 199th St.), who spoke about participation in the Comprehensive Plan; and Jason O’Kane (18804 Skyview Ln.), Mike Engeman (15259 W. 193rd Ter.) and Kate Harcsar (15051 W. 191st St.), who made general comments about data centers and, in Mr. O’Kane’s case, requested streetlighting at 191st & Skyview.
The minutes record these comments but show no formal response or action taken at the meeting on those points; several items (notably Comprehensive Plan engagement and sidewalk planning) may be considered in future staff work or council review. The commission proceeded to its agenda items after the public-comment period.
