Council approves consent agenda, continues fleet lease and holds executive session on property acquisition

At its March 26 meeting the Spring Hill City Council approved the consent agenda and took several administrative actions.
The consent agenda included approval of the March 12 meeting minutes, Appropriation Order No. 2026-03-26, a special event permit for a Church Family Fishing Derby, a $32,648 transfer from the Sales Tax—County Fund to the Fight Addiction Fund to support a vehicle purchase, purchases of police helmets, two task orders for N. Webster sewer services with KAW Valley (survey and geotechnical), an agreement with Johnson County for funding of 191st Street improvements under the County Assistance Road System (CARS) program, and approval of the Hidden Hills, Fourth Plat final plat. Item 9 (Improvement Agreement, Fox Hollow, Second Plat) had been removed from the agenda prior to the vote.
Council also voted to continue the Enterprise Fleet Management lease program; the motion to continue the lease and authorize the mayor to sign documents carried 4-0-0. Later the council recessed into executive session for preliminary discussions of real property acquisition under K.S.A. 75-4319(b)(6); the session included City Administrator Lane Massey and Community Development Director Mike Mallon, and the minutes state the council reconvened with no votes or decisions taken during the session.
