Stanton County principals report fall enrollment numbers and summer-school participation
Summary
Elementary Principal Andrea Jones reported about 60 students attended summer school (six staff) and elementary enrollment at roughly 231 students (net -9). Jr./Sr. High Principal Leah Crane reported about 186 students and noted completion of senior parking-lot painting.
At the Aug. 11 board meeting, Stanton County USD 452 principals reported preliminary fall enrollment figures and summer-school participation.
Elementary Principal Andrea Jones said summer school had six employees and roughly 60 student attendees. She reported elementary enrollment of about 231 students, noting the school had gained one student and lost ten compared with the prior reporting period. Jones said staff used in‑service days to review Math MTSS.
Jr./Sr. High Principal Leah Crane reported preliminary enrollment of about 186 students and described the recent repainting of the senior parking lot, which she said was completed during the hottest part of summer and went smoothly.
The enrollment figures were presented as preliminary; the minutes do not list a final certified count. Superintendent Dave Novack and board members heard the reports and moved on to other agenda items.
