The preliminary plan (SLD2020-03) and a related waiver request (WB2025-01) for 231 North Samuel Street were listed as the two public hearings on the Aug. 25 agenda. “The applicant has requested that we postpone action on these items, and so I, but without a specified time frame,” the chair said, noting the request and opening the floor for a motion to table.
Earlier in the meeting the commission approved the minutes of its July 28, 2025 meeting after a motion, second and voice vote. When commissioners asked whether tabling would require re-listing the items on the next agenda, a participant responded that the items will come back at the September meeting.
A motion to table the two hearings was made and seconded; the commission approved the motion by voice vote and the chair announced the items were tabled. No public testimony or additional staff presentations on the project were recorded in the meeting transcript.
The commission adjourned shortly after the vote. Both SLD2020-03 and WB2025-01 are expected to be placed on the commission’s September agenda for further consideration.
