Commissioner Michael Parlavecchio noted that resolution 17 on the agenda would accept the county audit and transmit it to the Local Finance Board. The board approved both the corrective action plan (items labelled 1 and 44 in the packet) and the formal acceptance of the 2023 audit by roll call.
The action formalizes the county’s response to the audit findings and begins the reporting process to state oversight authorities. The board did not discuss changes to staffing or full implementation timelines in detail at the meeting; the administration indicated it will report back on implementation progress as required.
