LaMoure County commissioners approve agenda additions, minutes, picnic coverage and payment of bills

The LaMoure County Board of County Commissioners carried a series of routine administrative motions at its Aug. 19 meeting.
Chairman Keith Heidinger called for additions to the agenda; commissioners added Julianne Racine (Extension Agent) and Denice Porter (Tax Director). Commissioner Bob Flath moved to approve the agenda with those additions, with Commissioner Bruce Klein seconding; the board voted all aye and the motion carried.
The board then approved the Aug. 5 minutes on a motion by Flath, seconded by Commissioner Wayne Wald, again voting unanimously. Commissioner Bruce Klein moved, with a second from Commissioner Wald, to cover the costs for employees and family to attend the LaMoure Chamber Retailers Employee Appreciation Picnic; the motion passed on a unanimous vote.
Finally, the board reviewed and approved county bills as presented. Vendor listings reviewed included line items such as Flint Hills Resources LP for $134,360.40 and an NDSU Extension Service line for $30,158.16; the board approved payment on a motion by Commissioner Bob Flath, seconded by Commissioner Bruce Klein. Chairman Heidinger adjourned the meeting at 9:42 a.m.
