Chief Copeland said the agreement is the city’s standard technical rescue contract; it was brought after Pewaukee began providing services to Lisbon and Lisbon contracted with the city for technical services. Chief Copeland said the contract will bring approximately $4,200 in revenue to the city and that the village had already approved the agreement and city legal review was complete.
Committee members asked about backup coverage if two simultaneous specialized calls occurred. Chief Copeland explained response depends on call types and available resources; if the city could not cover a specialized response, mutual aid would likely be requested through MAVIS to Milwaukee County.
The committee moved and seconded the item; it passed by unanimous voice vote.
