Secaucus Board approves transportation hire, waives restrictive language in SEA agreement

During the meeting the chair moved to adopt resolutions R1.01 through R4.18, a package that included the newly introduced R1.28 and R1.29. The motion passed on a roll-call vote. Two members announced they would recuse specifically from R1.29; other trustees recorded yes votes for the package.
The board separately announced that the district's negotiation team had reached a settlement with the Secaucus Education Association; the meeting record did not include contract terms or a ratification vote at this session.
