The court approved multiple minutes (Historical Commission May 13, Commissioners' Court June 4, June 9 and June 12) and made a correction to a misdated entry (changed "April 2026" to "May 2026") before approving the consent agenda; the consent agenda approval was moved by Commissioner Ryan Basham and seconded by Commissioner Kyle Matthews. The court also approved Resolution 26-04 honoring the Jonesboro Girls Softball state championship and approved the Coryell County Museum's request to use county property at S 8th Street and Leon Street in Gatesville for Spur Fest on Sept. 19, 2026.
Finally, the court voted to pay bills totaling $602,803.43 after a motion by Commissioner Kyle Matthews and a second by Commissioner Keith Taylor. The minutes list attached documents for several items (audit report, Road and Bridge report, K-9 agreements).
