The ordinances (Bill Nos. 2026-01 through 2026-05) were introduced as first readings; the Council did not take final adoption votes on Jan. 8. Mayor Robertson said the goal is to better train staff and place employees into positions that create a clear succession path for the Clerk, Treasurer and HR functions, given recent staffing transitions.
