Parks & Recreation proposes fee and program changes; town manager outlines several new staff roles

"Parents would be welcome at nature programs," she said, describing a low-cost approach to summer programming.
Later in the session Town Manager Barbara Hollerand described several proposed positions to include in the budget: Assistant Public Works Director, Water Maintenance Supervisor, Town Planner, Facilities & Grounds Maintenance Specialist, and a reclassified Community Engagement Coordinator. Goldsmith and Public Works staff discussed potential duties and benefits if the positions are approved.
The meeting ended with a motion to adjourn; no staffing hires or reclassifications were approved during the work session.
