Town Attorney Robert Eschenfelder reviewed the agreement before it was presented for final approval.
Commissioner CJ Hoyt then moved to approve ORD 2025-03, a housekeeping ordinance to update code language to match the revised 2025 Town Charter; Commissioner Larry Maynard seconded. Vice Mayor Schoos asked for clarification that the ordinance only replaces the word "Administrator" with "Manager," and Attorney Eschenfelder confirmed that was the intent. The motion passed on first reading with a unanimous vote.
The actions formalize the board's earlier selection of Carey for the town's chief executive role and align the town code with changes made to the town charter. The meeting concluded promptly; the commission adjourned at 6:03 p.m.
