Lindenhurst trustees agree to release prior executive-session minutes after staff recommendation

Marturano said the stated purpose of the executive session was to review previous executive-session meeting minutes that staff had recommended for approval and release to the public. Administrator Clay Johnson provided a list of minutes recommended for release; after review and discussion the trustees reached consensus to move forward with staff’s recommendation. The transcript records a consensus decision rather than a separate formal motion to approve each prior minute.
Trustee Patty Chybowski then made a motion, seconded by Trustee Dawn Suchy, to move out of executive session. A voice vote recorded six ayes—Trustees Dickson, Dunham, Chybowski, Suchy, Rosten and Grace—and zero nays; the motion carried. The board moved out of executive session and adjourned at 7:25 p.m.
The minutes include a notation showing a later approval date of Jan. 27, 2025. No ordinances, contracts, or other substantive policy actions are recorded in the transcript of this executive session.
