Trappe names Doran Bowman to Planning Commission; attorney to draft procurement ordinance for November

The council asked Ryan to draft an ordinance mirroring that example for introduction at the November meeting, with one change: the draft should not include any requirement that the town accept the lowest bidder.
No public questions or comments were made during the meeting’s public-comment portion. The council later entered an executive session to discuss a personnel matter and reconvened before adjourning.
