Glasgow schedules Joyce Driver Aquatic Center ribbon cutting, announces summer concerts

"We may let you walk around a little bit and look around after the ribbon cutting," Parks staff (identified as Eddie in the meeting) said, adding that staff are working on distributing season passes when the site opens. The mayor and council discussed the need for additional lifeguards and that training and vetting have been underway to support the center.
Separately the mayor announced two downtown concerts: the Louisville Orchestra will play on the square May 25 and the Glasgow Community Band will perform a patriotic concert on July 2 as part of Independence Day celebrations.
