The Bainville Town Council unanimously approved routine business items at its Feb. 10 regular meeting, including the agenda and the Jan. 13 minutes.
The council approved claims and journal vouchers totaling $24,718.26 after a motion by Councilmember John Gilligan and a second from Councilmember Will Rathbun. The council later approved payroll totaling $7,298.36 on a separate motion by Gilligan with Rathbun seconding; both votes were unanimous.
During new-business votes, the council approved a building permit for an addition to an existing structure submitted by Tom Romo, again by unanimous vote. The council also voted to disconnect the electrical meter serving an unused lagoon pivot (motion by John Gilligan, second by Will Rathbun), which passed without opposition.
The council listed standard financial reports for review during the treasurer’s report, including bank reconciliations, year-to-date expense and revenue summaries and delinquent-account listings. No public comments were made during the public-comment period. The meeting adjourned at 7:44 p.m.; the next regular meeting is scheduled for March 10, 2025.
