Committee approves Manchester Library repairs after testing; courthouse lighting ready for July 4

Director Rick Soucy reported July 2 that testing of the Manchester branch library on June 24 had passed. Two separate companies tested the facility: one tested air quality and passed, while the original testing facility applies a higher guideline. Based on that update, Commissioner Frank Watkins moved to approve the related repair and remediation projects; Commissioner Tina Reed seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
Soucy also reported that lighting work at the old courthouse was finished and ready for the July 4 holiday. The committee recorded no abstentions or no-votes on the approval motion for the library work.
