Forks Township approves payments, payroll, equipment purchase and service contracts

At its July 2 work session the Forks Township Board of Supervisors approved several fiscal items and service contracts as part of routine township business.
Treasurer John O'Neil reported an outstanding township debt of $688,000. The board approved/ratified online and ACH payments including AFLAC ($250.92), Casella Waste Systems ($96,523.33) and Grant Success Lab ($2,800.00), and accepted BMO autopay items listed for July 4. The board also approved vouchers: General Fund $75,992.23; General Capital Fund $5,176.16; Utility Fund $2,696.91; Escrow Fund $4,910.06. The board ratified gross payroll for the pay period ending June 28, 2026 in the amount of $188,798.68.
Procurement approvals included PO 3614 to Doosen Bobcat N.A., a CoStars vendor, for $106,107.94 for a Bobcat skid‑steer and upfitting (budgeted in the 2026 General Capital Budget) and PO #3624 to Exeter Supply for manhole rings for the sewer department ($6,996) to be paid from the utility fund.
The board also approved a one‑year contract with Elliot Lewis for inspection and assessment of 11 rooftop units in the municipal complex for $3,480 beginning August 1, 2026 (repairs to be quoted separately) and renewed WeatherWorks weather services for $1,775 for a one‑year term beginning August 1, 2026. All motions carried on recorded votes where noted.
