Road and Bridge Director Davis told the court the applications——mostly fiber-optic installations by Etex Telephone Co-op on roads including Edmonson, West Liberty, Pine Tree and others——met county specifications. He also described a Sabine Oil and Gas waterline on Tom Woodley Road and a Cypress Valley Water Supply connection on James Marshall Road; staff stated these installations comply with county standards and will protect road integrity when properly installed.
The court then approved the final plat for the Buchanan Addition at Buchanan Road and Collins Creek Road in Precinct 3. The developer's representative confirmed the private subdivision comprises five lots totaling about 4.151 acres and that utilities are already in the right-of-way; commissioners thanked the developer and approved the plat by motion 4–0.
Both items passed as part of the consent/regular business portion of the agenda. The county did not discuss construction timelines or specific permits beyond the administrative approvals recorded at the meeting.
