The Trappe Town Council unanimously adopted Resolution 4‑2024 on Aug. 7 to amend the town’s 2020 Comprehensive Plan and incorporate the Stories of the Chesapeake Heritage Area Management Plan.
President Schmidt read the proposed resolution during a public hearing where Town Attorney Lyndsey Ryan reported that the Trappe Planning Commission had reviewed and adopted a recommending resolution. No public comment was received during the hearing. Commissioner Rose Potter moved to adopt Resolution 4‑2024, Commissioner Walter Chase seconded, and the vote was unanimous.
The resolution adds Trappe to the Stories of the Chesapeake Heritage Area management plan and updates the comprehensive plan to reflect that inclusion.
