Cleo Adams presented Resolution 2024‑05A to accept the audited financial report for the fiscal year ended Sept. 30, 2023; the Board ratified the report unanimously. Adams also presented the unaudited financial statements as of Sept. 30, 2024 and identified apparent misclassifications and budget variances: General Fund "Engineering" is at 209% of budget (possible misposted Special Revenue items), "Contingencies" is at 421% of budget with $4,209 likely belonging under Landscaping, and a $19,805 NPDES reporting filing item is at 152% of budget. Mrs. Adams said she will request paid invoices from Corporate to reconcile these items and that the errors will be corrected in the next financials.
The Board ratified an emergency Precision Cleaning, Inc. street‑sweeping contract for storm clean‑up in a one‑time amount of $1,475 after staff reported eight loads of debris removed and eight passes through the CDD; staff were authorized to add additional week‑to‑week cleanings for the next month if necessary.
The Board approved the Aug. 27, 2024 public hearing and regular meeting minutes as amended and approved rescheduling the Nov. 12 meeting to Nov. 19, 2024. With no further business, the Board adjourned at 3:07 p.m.
