The Plymouth Airport Commission took several routine but consequential administrative actions at its May 14 meeting.
Vice Chairman Douglas Crociati moved to approve the minutes of the April 2, 2026 meeting; Commissioner Karin Goulian seconded and the motion carried 6-0-0. Later, Commissioner Tom Hurley moved to hire the UMass organization to conduct the search for a new airport manager; Commissioner Chris Merrill seconded and the motion carried 6-0-0.
Under new business the commission considered the Plymouth Aero Club’s request to hold its annual May Flour Drop on Sunday, May 17. Vice Chairman Crociati moved to approve the requested date; Commissioner Chris Merrill seconded. The motion passed 5-0-1 with Commissioner Karin Goulian recorded as abstaining.
The meeting closed after Vice Chairman Crociati moved to adjourn; Commissioner Goulian seconded and the motion carried 6-0-0. The meeting was adjourned at 8:06 PM.
