Columbus council approves routine motions including website hold and airport task order

The council approved the minutes from the Jan. 6 meeting and approved the list of delinquent shutoffs and the claims as presented. Under new business, the council approved pay application number 10 to Morris & Marley for $4,312.50 (the city's stated portion was $215.63). The council also approved task order number 5, recommending Signature Engineering for 2025 airfield pavement maintenance; the project will be funded by a 95 percent FAA grant with the city's reported cost share of $3,331.
On a separate action item the council voted to make no change to the City of Columbus website (staff had identified option 4, "no change," as the preference while recommending budgeted funds instead be used for security upgrades at City Hall). All of these motions were approved by voice vote at the meeting.
