The Russellville City finance committee on July 16 considered a slate of routine appropriations and permit referrals and recommended that the full council consider and approve them.
Chairman Keller moved to forward Item 1, a $1,860 Parks and Rec appropriation for a 20-foot trailer (fund O8); Item 2, $7,031.90 for Shiloh Park restroom wastewater design services (fund O8); Items 3 and 4 related to airport PAPI replacement and grant applications (Item 4 appropriation $263,120, fund 27); Item 5, an $83,790 appropriation for ladder truck refurbishment (fund O7); Item 6, a private club permit for Morello's Mexican Grill, Inc.; and Item 7, a private club permit for Heartland Pizza LLC. Each item was moved, seconded, and forwarded to the full council with a recommendation of approval. The committee also announced Item 8 would be removed from this month's agenda and considered next month.
The committee recessed at the conclusion of business and the chair stated the full council would reconvene at 6:00 p.m. for the regular meeting. No final contract awards or appropriation expenditures were approved at the finance committee meeting; all forwarded items require council action for final approval.
Votes in the committee were recorded by voice; the transcript records committee members saying "aye" during each recorded motion, and the chair announced each item as forwarded with the committee's recommendation.
