The minutes state the project will run for 18 months and that the town, in coordination with OCPC, issued a request for proposals for engineering consultants on April 8. The RFP is intended to identify consulting firms to assess supply, infrastructure and options for improving water security, the minutes say.
Committee members also recorded receipt of a culvert assessment for the Winnetuxet culverts authored by Matt Dyer of OCPC. The report was submitted to the town and will inform future infrastructure planning and any required engineering scope in the forthcoming consultant procurements.
The committee did not vote on or authorize specific contracts at the April 9 meeting; the minutes present the grant award and the RFP issuance as recorded items for future action and coordination with town staff and OCPC. No timetable for consultant selection or project milestones beyond the 18-month overall schedule was specified in the minutes.
