She also said public‑works wages had been reallocated among departments and that wages and benefits for the Visitors' Center needed to be increased. Mayor Craig Simons opened the public hearing; no members of the public offered comment. Council Member Andy Garland moved to approve Resolution 2026‑13 as presented; Council Member Andrew Osborne seconded and the council approved the amendment by unanimous vote.
