ARB approves small addition, siding change for Rutland Street home

Luigi DeMasi of DeMasi Architects presented a proposal to remove an existing non-connected greenhouse and construct a roughly 120–130 square-foot mudroom that would tie into an existing sunroom. He said a shed roof was necessary to avoid interfering with existing second-floor windows and that side egress windows are included on the mudroom elevation. The plans call for replacing the home’s siding with a classic cream-colored vinyl shingle-look siding similar to the previous material.
Nicholas Bagley moved to approve the updated application, Andy Gonzalez seconded, and the motion passed with all members present voting 'aye.' The minutes state updated plans are to be provided to the Building Department; no additional conditions or modifications were recorded.
