On building and zoning business, Commissioner Caitlin Bolender reported $80,334.97 in building permit activity for April and presented the Shell gas station reconstruction plans. Andres Mizrahi, a representative from Bowman, told commissioners the planned drive-through window is intended for a separate tenant but the actual tenant will be chosen once construction is under way; construction is expected to require about eight to 12 months of closure at the site. Commissioner Bolender moved to accept the reconstruction plans; Commissioner Huckabee seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
The mayor and commissioners took no votes on other items during the meeting. The commission adjourned at 7:02 P.M.
