Property owner asks council to correct zoning map for 2002 Sopchoppy Highway

Attorney Dan Cox told the council the parcel at 2002 should be Highway Commercial and said SEH is working to update and correct the zoning maps for council adoption and will make the correction.
The council did not take a formal vote on the request during the meeting; Attorney Cox indicated the correction will be made as part of the SEH zoning-map updates and that the updated maps will be submitted to council for adoption.
Staff will follow up through the planning/zoning map update process to ensure the parcel is rezoned or the overlay corrected as described at the meeting.
