The RFP sought a commercial-grade Avigilon ALTA Cloud Solution CCTV system sourced from Motorola and required proposers to detail licensing, plate-reader functionality and willingness to amend proposals to meet the grant's TEP requirements.
Councilman Dennis Perea moved to select Pavion Connect and Protect based solely on the average of interview scores; Councilman Terrill Trask seconded. The council carried the motion unanimously. The procurement record shows interview panels and scoring were used as the deciding factor.
What happens next: the selected contractor will be asked to finalize fee breakdowns and any amendments needed to align with DOJ/TEP grant terms and federal procurement compliance. The council emphasized that final award and contract terms will follow standard contracting procedures and grant requirements.
