During the Feb. 19 public comment period, five residents raised concerns about a proposed warehouse project on the former Trinca Airport property.
Michelle Dibiase, Cathy Cooper, John Bugay, Laura Bugay and Tom Schoemer each spoke during Open Public Session #2, expressing concerns about the proposal and asking the township to consider impacts. The minutes do not include verbatim statements; they record that the residents "provided comments and concerns regarding the proposed warehouse on the former Trinca Airport property." The committee thanked the residents and said any suggestions for ratables will be considered.
Laura Bugay additionally raised concerns about knowledge of the township's emergency alert system. Township Clerk Mark Zschack responded that the Rave alert system has been advertised and said staff will look into additional outreach and communication about how to register.
No formal land‑use applications or votes on the project were recorded at the Feb. 19 meeting; the remarks were made during public comment and were recorded for the committee's consideration.
