House, Senate approve $400,000 request; funding moves to Governor as SRF agreement is pending

Alan Hart and Jeremiah Wendt, with SEH, told the Council that both the House and Senate approved the city’s $400,000 funding request and forwarded it to the Governor for consideration. The consultants said they continue calibrating the water model to analyze storage and supply needs.
SEH reported it is waiting on the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) to finalize the State Revolving Fund (SRF) funding agreement. According to the presentation, DEP has confirmed the city may submit advance disbursement requests and seek expedited invoice reviews for engineering and design payments while the agreement is in process.
No final SRF agreement was reported at this meeting; SEH and staff will continue work on modeling and coordinate with DEP on disbursement procedures.
