Board members discussed the language so it aligned with handbooks and previous actions. One board member who made the motion described the change as primarily a clarification, not a new requirement. On the record the chair said the motion carried; board members present registered affirmative responses.
The vote finalizes the district’s stance ahead of the 2029 cohort’s course planning. The board listed the item for the record and moved on to other business; administration will ensure student handbooks and registration materials reflect the clarified language credit and the financial literacy credit.
