Both motions passed on unanimous roll call votes.
On the library hours proposal, Councilor Brent Jaramillo moved to table the item; Councilwoman Katrina Gonzales seconded. The council's roll call among members present produced two YES votes and two NO votes. Mayor Ortega broke the tie by voting YES to table the item; the matter was postponed for later consideration.
