Mayor John Ortega reported he had met with Chris Ortiz from the New Mexico Department of Transportation to discuss possible flashing lights to slow traffic, and said Inspire Daycare will no longer have a facility in Questa; the village said it will continue to help identify venues for childcare if needed. Ortega also reported ongoing work on property boundary “slivers” on North Kiowa.
