Board approves cooperative sports agreement changes, personnel and extracurricular appointments

Activities Director Matt Porrovecchio told trustees the 2024–25 Cooperative Sports/Activities Agreement with Swan River was amended to allow six days of leave; Trustee Julie Kreiman moved approval, Trustee Ben Woods seconded and the agreement was approved unanimously.
Trustees also approved personnel items on the consent agenda, including resignations (Trisha Knobloch, paraprofessional; Shawn Hall, high‑school wrestling coach), recommended classified hires and substitutes, and multiple extra‑curricular staff assignments and volunteers (for example, middle‑school football coaches, choir and band advisors, student council and science fair advisors). The board accepted donations: Booster Club donation to cross country ($2,287.50) and a $1,500 donation from Bigfork Rotary Foundation to baseball.
All consent‑agenda personnel and donation items were approved by unanimous vote. Several trustees commended staff for communications with coaches, parents and students related to activities.
