At its June 3 meeting, the Pick City council approved multiple building permits, granted liquor licenses and authorized payments for city work.
S. Bather moved and K. Westman seconded approval of several building permits: Jim Albers (deck), Mike Keller (steel roof), Chris Bauman (removal for trailer) and Mark Klein (concrete driveway). In separate action, the council approved a new-home permit for Donny Wald and a garage permit for Kevin Dissel but held those approvals until the properties are staked and setbacks are verified by Zoning.
Council authorized payment of $4,400 for concrete in front of city hall (motion by L. Davis, second S. Bather). The council also approved paying Don Pfli ger $20.00 per hour (motion by B. Reiser, second K. Westman).
On licenses and events, K. Westman moved and L. Davis seconded approval of on- and off-sale beer and liquor licenses for Dam Bar and Little Bar & Grill and an off-sale license for Scott's; the council also approved a street dance at Little Bar on June 20 (motion by B. Reiser, second by S. Bather). All actions were recorded as carried on unanimous voice votes.
The minutes list approved bills and payroll totals, including a payroll/insurance/retirement entry of $4,953.73 and multiple vendor payments recorded in the packet. The council reminded residents that building permits are required before construction or repairs.
Next steps: property owners required to meet zoning staking requirements before their permits are finalized; staff will process the approved payments and licenses.
