Pick City council accepts public works director’s resignation; city posts maintenance job

The council directed staff to advertise the open City Maintenance position. The meeting packet and notices state the role will cover water distribution, wastewater management, city streets and grounds, the city landfill, snow removal, mowing, operation of heavy equipment and zoning monitoring. The notice lists a base starting pay of $20.00 per hour and says pay is competitive depending on experience; benefits are included.
Council members said the position will be posted at City Hall and in city communications; applicants are asked to submit applications to the City of Pick City, 18 First Lane SE, Pick City, ND 58545. No interview schedule or hiring timeline was announced at the meeting.
