The Town of Greenberg board opened a public hearing on proposed construction and reconstruction of water mains across the town’s consolidated Water District No. 1, with staff citing a maximum cost estimate of $3,647,117.81.
Deputy town engineer Chris Gelardo told the board the map, plan and estimate were dated Aug. 4, 2025, and that the work would prioritize the Greenville and Knollwood neighborhoods. The estimate and supporting documents are on file at the town clerk’s office.
Town staff said the project was classified as a SEQR Type II action. After the presentation the board closed public comment in person and left the written record open for seven days.
