Council unanimously approved a special use permit for the John Beer Memorial Fly‑In at Wolterman Memorial Airport scheduled for May 30, 2026. Dennis Holten moved to approve the permit and the motion passed by roll call.
The council also approved a lease agreement with Early Bird Coffee House for a location across from Montana Silversmiths; the lease specifies a 5% annual rent increase. Cole Waltner moved to approve the lease; the motion passed on roll call.
On airport work, Council approved Pay Application No. 4 to Morrison Maierle in the amount of $997.90. The minutes list funding as 95% FAA ($948.00) and 5% sponsor share split between City ($24.95) and County ($24.95). Kisha Cornell summarized the pay application before the unanimous vote.
Council voted to resume the work order for CR Contracting for pavement maintenance after a brief explanation from Kisha Cornell, and it approved moving forward with a natural gas construction agreement that carries an estimated city cost of $10,000. All motions passed by roll call.
