The Columbus City Council on April 6 approved Joint Resolution No. 2026-01, which updates solid-waste management procedures at the airport and refreshes signature lines for current elected officials. Councilmember Dennis Holten moved the resolution and Rick White seconded; the motion passed by unanimous roll call.
Council also approved updated Joint City-County Airport Board bylaws to add an "at large" category for board members and to update signatures for current elected officials. The bylaw changes were moved by Councilmember Cole Waltner, seconded by Tim Mayo, and approved unanimously. The changes were described in the meeting as administrative updates and did not include financial authorizations.
