Councilman Cliff Shultz moved to table the MOU; Councilman Doug Asbury seconded. The motion carried with Councilman Ryan Carson (via phone), Councilwoman Shala Cullum, Councilman Cliff Shultz and Councilman Doug Asbury voting aye. The minutes record the action as a tabled motion; no changes to the MOU or approval were made at the meeting.
The council did not vote on any alternative language or direct staff to take a specific follow-up action in the minutes; the attorney's request to continue discussions with MMIA was recorded as the reason for tabling.
