Board members and staff questioned signage and lighting; staff recommended the planning board request that the town board confirm site lighting compliance with code and suggested the applicant submit signage details as part of the site‑plan package so future sign variances would not force additional board reviews.
Brixmor/Bricksmoor said EV charging is being considered but is not part of this application; tenants typically pursue storefront signage approvals with the building department, though the applicant said it could preapprove Sprouts signage as part of the package. The board agreed to a positive recommendation to the town board with the staff‑suggested language about lighting and signage review.
Staff will finalize and transmit the recommendation and include the board’s comments on lighting, signage and pedestrian safety for town‑board consideration.
