Ordinance 1004 (annexation of property on GA Hwy 17 North): Prior to the second reading the ordinance was amended to add a stipulation in Section 2 limiting construction on the annexed property to no more than 36 housing units. Councilman Tony McCollum moved to place the ordinance on second reading; Councilman Fletcher Hodges seconded. The motion passed 5-0 with Councilman Matt Fields recorded as abstaining.
