The Alma Common Council approved a slate of operator and alcohol-license actions at its June 18 meeting.
Council approved initial and additional operator licenses recommended by the Finance/Tax & License/Zoning Committee. The council approved Combination Class A licenses for Kwik Trip 802 (Brenda Loesel, agent) and Riverside Bait and Liquor (Jody Cowden, agent). Several Combination Class B renewals and agent updates were approved, including American Legion Post #244 (Laureen Smolen, agent), Alfresco Pizzeria (Serepta Sargent, agent), Dam View Bar (Gregory A. Stevens, agent), JLS Hospitality, LLC (Jerri Schreiber, agent), River Road Tavern, LLC (Dylan Fluekiger, agent), Empire Room (Serepta Sargent, agent), The Red Ram Saloon (Dylan Fluekiger, agent), Big River Theatre (Joshua Griep, agent), and Alma Rod & Gun Club (Travis Burce, agent). The council also approved a Class B fermented malt beverage license for Pier 4 Market, LLC (Elizabeth Walker, agent) and a Class C wine license for Pier 4 Market, LLC.
