The Parks and Recreation Committee decided to hold its next meeting in workshop format to create mock-ups of beach-access signage for later presentation to the Town Council.
Committee members identified Mario Orlando in Public Works as a potential resource for sign design. Ginger McQuigg said she will bring poster board for participants to use during the workshop, and the group asked members to email any sign examples they have before the meeting.
Committee members emphasized the workshop is intended to produce a mock-up the committee can present to the Town Council for consideration; no formal vote or funding decision was recorded. The committee later set its next regular meeting for June 12 at 5:00 p.m., and will confirm workshop timing and final materials at upcoming meetings.
