The High Point Community Property Owners board ratified operational and maintenance items and confirmed a new hire during its April 29 meeting.
Steve Heffron reported the association hired Jack Harrison for inside maintenance and pool duties. Heffron said pool‑decking work has begun and that library access will be posted with an entrance through the community center; the posted access will not be handicap accessible because it requires four or five steps.
Groundskeeping updates included a revised tractor purchase: the board approved buying the tractor from Crystal rather than Green Acres because of a superior warranty and availability; the motion to ratify the change was moved and passed. The board also ratified cleaning the diesel storage tank and an associated fuel delivery. An invoice from Universal Fuel Services for tank cleaning, waste disposal and a planned 225‑gallon delivery totaled $1,628.75.
Permitting staff reported 19 permits approved and one denied; the permit report was approved by motion. The storage compound and dog park are undergoing tree‑debris cleanup after recent storms.
The board ratified these operational actions by recorded motions and concluded the items will be reflected in the association records.
