High Point board ratifies prior approvals, adopts rules changes and clears six permits (one denied)

The High Point Community Property Owners Board of Directors on Sept. 23 approved several routine governance actions, including last month’s minutes, a set of updated Rules & Regulations and a package of permits and application ratifications.
Jean Albano, secretary of the board, said the board approved the July 29, 2025 meeting minutes and adopted proposed changes to the association’s Rules & Regulations after motions carried on unanimous voice votes. The board also ratified 25 previously approved background or homeowner applications covering addresses across High Point.
Rick Manseau, board member, moved to ratify the prior applications; Steve Heffron seconded the motion, and the board approved it unanimously. The transcript lists the 25 addresses approved for ratification at the meeting.
Greg Myers presented the financial report and audit, which the board approved after discussion. Albano moved to approve the financial report; Ray Thomas seconded and the motion passed on a voice vote.
On permits, the board voted to approve six permit requests and denied one ramp request. The motion to approve six and deny one passed by voice vote. Approved work included driveway and carport extensions, fences, a new roof and storm-damage repairs; the denied permit was a ramp at 12433 Harker St.
The board closed its business and adjourned at 9:23 a.m.
