The Hilliard Town Council approved a supplemental agreement for the West Sixth Street design contract on April 2 contingent on receipt of additional developer funding.
Land Use Administrator Lee Anne Wollitz said an amendment to the original design contract with Peters Yaffee Transportation (now LJA & Traffic Engineering) was required because of increased costs. A representative of Dayspring Commons LLC agreed to deposit an additional $15,000 to cover the increase. The council's motion authorized approval of the amendment once the town receives that payment.
Minutes record the council's approval of the motion to accept the amendment upon receipt of payment. Town staff will execute the amendment with LJA & Traffic Engineering after confirmation of the developer payment, and the supplemental agreement moves the design project forward under the updated funding arrangement.
